We recently upgraded our Live Chat widget to include self-service, which we are really excited about! You are now able to get instant order status updates using the chat window from any page on our site. You do need to be logged in to your account for this to work, but unless you delete your browser cookies often, you will likely still be logged in every time you visit our site. Simply open up the chat window, click the "order status" button, and our chat bot will give you the latest info in just a few seconds. This also ties in with our email program so that most emails get an immediate response when asking for the latest order information.
Keep in mind that orders for built to order products are going to be in welding/in production/awaiting fulfillment statuses for the majority of the time. We don't have separate order statuses for each individual process during production. If your order has shipped (full or partial), the chat bot will provide you with the shipment status and tracking info. We will keep working on new ways to streamline our customer service to get everyone the info they need more quickly.
