FAQ

Do you have any US or Canadian dealers?

We do not have stocking dealers, although we have had dealers in the past who would drop ship items directly from us.  As of January 1st, 2019 we no longer offer a dealer program, and handle all sales and shipping of our products directly.

What is the lead time/build time/ship time on XYZ product?

For products that are not listed as In Stock, all lead times are listed on the individual product pages, if we have a lead time available. Please consult those pages for the most accurate info available, or call us and we can go over everything with you. We update our site frequently to make sure the lead times are as accurate as possible, however they are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee build or ship times due to the nature of our business. Any number of things can come up or go wrong, from suppliers to equipment to who knows what else. We try to give you a really good educated guess when it will ship, but if you are in a hurry or are the type of person to sit and check the days off of the calendar waiting on an order, you'll probably want to talk to us before ordering.  We do keep our most popular products in stock as much as possible.  Sometimes they sell faster than we can make them.  Email us or give us a call prior to ordering if you have a time-critical situation. We will always do whatever we can to help you out if your truck is down or have other time-sensitive issues.

Has my order shipped?

You can always check your order status by logging into My Account.  If your order has shipped, you will get an email with tracking info.  Sometimes those emails get picked up by spam filters.  You can also email our front desk at orders@dodgeoffroad.com and ask about your order status if that is easier for you.  If you have your order number available, put it in the subject line.  You can now also check your order status instantly 24/7 by using our Live Chat widget.

My card was charged but the site is showing my order has not shipped yet.

The way our website works (and most sites) is that your card is charged when you place an order. We do not see or receive your card or payment info; this is all done securely and we simply get a "paid" or "not paid" status on the order. All invoices are paid in full at the time of order. We don't run your card manually or "take" money before shipping products, this is simply the way an e-commerce site works. If you have questions or concerns about this, please feel free to contact us. As noted on every single product page, as well as our Terms and Conditions page, most parts are custom made so they don't ship immediately. If the part is in stock and ready to ship, it will be noted on that product page. Please ask before ordering if you aren't sure when something will ship.

I don't like computers, and want to talk to someone on the phone.

Our business is built around e-commerce and as of May 2023 we're handling all communications through email and chat in order to provide faster response times to our customers.  We like talking trucks as much as the next guy, but the volume of calls and emails we receive simply outweighs our ability to chit chat on the phone all day.  We're a small business and everyone here has multiple roles to fill, when we're not on the phone that allows us to get other things done.  It's a win-win for everyone.  Our new website is even easier to use than the old one, and we now have a Live Chat option if you don't like sending emails.

I am being charged sales tax, what's the deal?

As of April 2017, we are required to charge sales tax on all orders regardless of what state it is being shipped to.  Prior to that, there was an "internet loophole" that allowed us to not charge sales tax except on orders that were being shipped to our home state of Arkansas.  Now that loophole has been closed and we are required to collect sales tax on all orders, unless you live in one of the five states that does not charge sales tax, or unless you have a sales tax certificate for your business and this is a business purchase for resale.  If you live in a state without sales tax, the site will not charge you sales tax.  If you have a business sales tax permit, you'll need to call us or email us to get the sales tax waived PRIOR TO placing an order.  If you do it afterwards, we can't edit the invoice so we have to cancel the first order and run it again.

What are your hours?

Our hours vary depending on scheduling and work load in the shop.  We're closed on weekends and major holidays.

Do you offer discounts for XYZ ?

Currently, there are no discounts except for our military veterans. Occasionally we will run specials on the site, and these will be posted on the site when they are in effect. We prefer to have a no-hassle price policy - instead of offering discounts to a dozen different groups and then charging everyone else a higher price to compensate for the discounts, we just give everyone the same price and keep it simple. This means less time verifying credentials and more time focusing on what we do best - making truck parts.

Will you sponsor me?

No. We've tried it many times in the past, it's never that successful.  People love free or discounted parts, but rarely fulfill their obligations to sponsors.

But I have a big YouTube channel and over 50k followers on Instagram.

Maybe... but probably not. We're just not into paying people to recommend us, our products speak for themselves and after 13 years in business we've got a large enough following of our own that sponsoring a truck build just doesn't do much for us.

Do you make lifts for 2wd trucks?
We get this question a lot more now than ever before, but the answer is still no.  Unless you swap a Dodge 4x4 front axle in, we don't have anything for you, although our shackle flip does fit 2wd trucks.

What is your cancellation/return policy?
Read all about it here:  DOR Terms & Conditions
In stock items can be returned within 30 days of receipt with an RMA and a restocking fee.  Any products built to order or special ordered cannot be returned - if you have a fitment issue, we'll work with you to make you what you need. There are no cancellations on products that are built to order once production has started.

What is your warranty?
Read all about it here:  DOR Terms & Conditions
Basically, we cover any hard parts that were installed correctly, and used in a manner consistent with the intended use for the life of the product, to the original purchaser.  We don't cover wear items like bushings, joints, bearings, heims, heim seals, and we don't warranty powdercoat at all.

Why won't you sell to anybody under the age of 21?
We can only serve so many customers; there is a limit to how many products we can build and ship.  We prefer to work with customers who value quality over speed and price, and that generally comes with age.  The 16-20 year old crowd is where a lot of our complaints come from, because they expect everything to ship as fast as Amazon ships, and then throw a temper-tantrum on social media when things don't go the way they think they should.  That's not how our company works, and we go to great lengths to make that as well-known as possible before anybody places an order with us.  We still get hot-heads in the 21+ demographic, but at least when they get mad we get to talk to them and not their parents.  The 21 and up rule is in place because we just don't want to deal with the drama, sorry if that offends anyone.  Our products are intended for a mature audience that wants the best, not the fastest or the cheapest.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, but we can also make exceptions if there is an understanding between our younger customers and us.  Some of you younger guys are really cool, and we appreciate you.  But your generation is full of entitled cry babies and we don't need the money bad enough to deal with that crap.
